Accommodation In Ypres and The Western Front

School trips to Ypres and the Western Front are best placed visiting Ypres on the first day, then locating themselves in the Eastern area of Normandy thereafter. We have a number of hotel options that are perfect for schools in this area, with the best option dependent on the items on your itinerary. This may change, and it may be more beneficial to be based in Ypres if your school is located more than 4 hours away from the crossing at dover.

FAQs

We have found that quoting generic prices can often be misleading for schools, with so many factors drastically influencing the cost of any given trip. This is why we use our super quick and easy consultation process to give you an accurate price every time!

All our trips have the option to take a guide, but can also be led by one of your teachers if this is preferred.

All our educational trips include a trip pack, to ensure students get the most out of their time abroad. To find out more about our education on our trips, click here.

We offer both! Depending on your preferences we can organise food at your accommodation to keep things economical, or exciting meals at restaurants trying the local cuisine.

While it is possible to organise a trip closer to the time of departure, we would recommend booking 9-12 months in advance to secure the best accommodation and give parents the chance to spread out payments.

The free place ratio will depend on the number of passengers on your trip and the contents of your package. We will always look to provide a minimum of 1 free place for every 10 paying passengers.

This is not a problem! We will happily organise trips for groups of all sizes, however smaller groups will find travel by air more economical and won’t enjoy the same economies of scale as larger groups.

If this is something you’d still like to take advantage of, just ask us about our school matchmaking service – where we can pair you with another trip of a similar size to give you all the benefits of a larger trip!

Very little! We make it our mission to take on as much of the burden as possible, see how we achieve that here.
