FAQs

We have found that quoting generic prices can often be misleading for schools, with so many factors drastically influencing the cost of any given trip. This is why we use our super quick and easy consultation process to give you an accurate price every time!

Lessons will normally be for 2 hours in the morning, and 2 hours in the afternoon. Group sizes will differ depending on the number of passengers on your trip, we always aim for a ratio of no more than 8 students to one instructor.

Yes, Snowboarding is an option! However, it is not normally suitable for snowboarders and skiers to mix in the same lesson, so you will need enough students wanting to snowboard of a similar level to create a group.

Very! Canada tends to have a much better snow record than Europe, due to higher mountain ranges, a more northerly location and a more extreme climate. Average snowfall is therefore higher, with snow also lasting for longer once it has fallen.

Skis or snowboards are provided, as well as boots, poles and helmets. Warm clothing and ski specific jackets and trousers are not provided as standard, but can be hired for a supplement.

While it is possible to organise a trip closer to the time of departure, we would recommend booking 12-18 months in advance to secure the best accommodation and give parents the chance to spread out payments.

The free place ratio will depend on the number of passengers on your trip and the contents of your package. We will always look to provide a minimum of 1 free place for every 10 paying passengers.

This is not a problem! We will happily organise trips for groups of all sizes, however smaller groups will find travel by air more economical and won’t enjoy the same economies of scale as larger groups.

If this is something you’d still like to take advantage of, just ask us about our school matchmaking service – where we can pair you with another trip of a similar size to give you all the benefits of a larger trip!
