Trip Itinerary

Frequently Asked Questions

The total journey time will depend on traffic and reliable running of flights out of Gatwick airport. It will likely be a 1 hour transfer to the Gatwick airport, a 2 hour flight into Europe, with a 3 hour transfer to Val Cenis on the other side.

Lessons will usually be for 2 hours in the morning, and 2 hours in the afternoon. Group sizes will differ depending on ability, we always aim for a ratio of no more than 10 students to one instructor.

Yes, Snowboarding is an option! However, it is not normally suitable for snowboarders and skiers to mix in the same lesson, so you will need enough students wanting to snowboard of a similar level to create a group.

Extremely, the snow record is exemplary!  Not only is Val Cenis north facing, but benefits from a unique feature that the locals call the “Lombard” – a wind which blows additional snow through from Italy.

Skis or snowboards are provided, as well as boots, poles and helmets. Warm clothing and ski specific jackets and trousers are not provided and each student will need to bring their own. We will provide a full packing list in the build up to the trip.

A total of 6 teachers will be traveling with the trip.

We offer full working hours support for parents in the build up to a trip, as well as 24 hour support when a trip is away. You can contact us here.
